Does my mailing ZIP establish service coverage?

No. A ZIP helps describe an inquiry, but it does not identify the water supplier, pipe ownership, permit authority or whether a particular job is accepted. Give the physical address and the suspected system when you call.

Areas and address inquiries

Browse by the area closest to your property. These are navigation groups, not utility boundaries or a promise that a provider accepts the address.

ZIP codes for address inquiries: 34945, 34946, 34947, 34948, 34949, 34950, 34951, 34954, 34979, 34981, 34982.

Use the address where the leak is suspected

Give a street address rather than a post office box or billing address. Add a unit, building or lot number where applicable. If an owner lives elsewhere, distinguish the property needing attention from the place where bills or correspondence arrive.

The city’s own Building Department uses a 34954 post-office-box mailing address as well as a different physical office address. That is one practical reason not to treat every mailing ZIP as the site of a repair.

Identify the water account separately

Look at the supplier named on the property’s water bill. An electricity supplier, a Fort Pierce postal address and the water service may not establish the same boundary. FPUA provides a water service map; St. Lucie County also publishes water-system reports. Use official information with the actual property address.

Choose the question that matches the property

Use the Fort Pierce service pages for the main inspection topics. The area guides add questions about shared units, northern-community access, and western or southern property supply arrangements. These are browsing groups, not surveyed boundaries or assertions about every home in an area.

Tell us which water system is involved, what you have observed and whether entry is authorized. Confirm acceptance before arranging a visit.
